If you’re seeking novel approaches to your complex business challenges, perhaps we should talk. I have executed across the full product development life cycle; advancing new technologies from concept scouting through research and development to commercial operation. My record of accomplishment includes managing large and small scale projects against tough customer and regulatory guidelines.

Simple solutions don’t come easy. Albert Einstein inspires my approach to problem-solving, “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.”  To this aim, I have spent my career developing simple biotechnology solutions to attack healthcare, energy, and environmental grand challenges. The solutions help me remember a timeless truth from Jurassic Park: there have never been more powerful biological tools – tools with the potential to improve the world and to endanger it.

 

My imperative is to transform societies and communities by co-creating the tools we need to overcome systemic barriers. Therefore, I find it important to develop products that not only have commercial value but that also fully address people’s needs.
